Advocacy Guided by Faith and Knowledge, Proven in Care
Meet your local, independent Medicare agent in Missouri. From our home base in Springfield near Route 66, you’ll work one-to-one with Jason from the first question to enrollment and annual reviews. That continuity means clear conversations, steady follow-through, and decisions that fit your life in the Ozarks or beyond—whether you live in Springfield, Branson, Joplin, Monett, Bolivar, or Marshfield.

Jason Avery
Since 1993, I’ve been serving physicians—first by discussing patient care opportunities that lead to a better understanding of their health, and now by helping individuals and families navigate the world of Medicare and health insurance with clarity and confidence. What started as educational conversations about medications and health goals have grown into heartfelt advocacy for affordable, responsible access to care.
In 2014, after much prayer and reflection, God led me to an unexpected new path—Medicare Insurance. And while I never imagined this would become my passion, it’s now one of the most meaningful chapters of my journey. I believe in advocacy guided by faith and knowledge, proven in care and integrity.
When I'm not helping people find peace of mind in the maze of health or life insurance, you’ll find me swinging a golf club, whipping up a meal for family and friends, or digging in the dirt, designing beautiful landscapes that let my creative side run wild. I believe that how we live reflects who we are—and at The Advocate Group, we live to serve, support, and advocate for better tomorrows.
We’re more than an agency—we’re your partner in navigating life’s changes, with peace, purpose, and a personal touch.
Currently licensed in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kansas, and Mississippi.
Let’s talk.  Your peace of mind matters! And while we’re together, maybe we can trade tips and tricks on landscaping and recipes.
Krista Erdmann
Rooted in faith, grounded in family, and driven by a deep desire to serve others, I am building my career as a Medicare broker on the belief that everyone deserves to feel supported and informed when making healthcare decisions.
My mission is simple: to treat every client with the same care and respect I would offer my own family.
With a strong foundation of my values, I view this work not just as a profession, but as a calling—an opportunity to walk alongside seniors and their loved ones during an important chapter of life. Whether it’s simplifying complex plans, answering difficult questions, or just being a trusted voice of calm, I strive to be someone people can rely on.
Outside of work, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my family, being a “Lovie” and staying involved in my church and community. For me, success is measured not just in numbers, but in the peace of mind and gratitude I see in the people I serve.

My heart for helping others took root back in 2003, when I began my career supporting healthcare providers and advocating for patients. Since then, I've worn many hats—from leading public health outreach across southwest Missouri to working in wellness and fitness—all tied together by my passion for education, trust, and compassionate guidance.
After facing my own major medical challenge in 2024, I gained a fresh
perspective on the importance of quality healthcare coverage. That
experience led me to reconnect with an old colleague, Jason Avery, and
ultimately joined the Medicare world, where I now help individuals confidently navigate their options with care and clarity.
I live in Republic MO with my husband, Justin, and our three busy kids. When I'm not meeting with clients, I'm likely at a ball field somewhere, cheering louder than I probably should!

FAQ: Common Questions from Missouri Clients
Are you independent or tied to one carrier?
We’re independent. That means we can review options from multiple carriers and focus on the fit for your doctors, drugs, and budget.
How are you paid?
There’s no fee for our guidance. If you enroll in a plan, the carrier may pay us a standard commission. Your premium is the same whether you enroll alone or with our help.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes. Phone and Zoom visits are available, along with in-person meetings near downtown Springfield.
What areas do you serve?
Primarily Missouri across the state, but we also have licensure in TN, MS, AR, OK, and KS.
Can you work with clients who move out of Missouri?
Often, yes. If you relocate to a state where we’re licensed, we’ll help you compare county-specific options and enroll on time.
